Hello everyone! How are you all doing? So today, I have a
different post for you all. I De-cluttered my lipstick drawer and picked up 10
lipstick choices, both drugstore and high-end brands. The list includes shades
ranging from Brights, bolds and deep. For reference I am NC25-30. So let’s get
started! :D
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills – Carina
ABH is one of my favourite liquid lipsticks formulas ever.
They feel very comfortable on the lips without drying the lips. The
pigmentation is mind blowing, goes opaque in one single swipe and stays for the
longest time. It dries down matte in seconds, and is completely budge-proof.
Carina is a mix of red-pink-orange, looks so flattering on fair-light skin
tones. It is a very bright lipstick, but does not look neon.
2. Colorbar Kissproof Lipstain- 007 Haute Latte
Colorbar came up with kissproof lipstain range, with a wide
variety of shade range. The range has everything for everyone’s taste, pretty
pinks, bold reds, mauves and deep browns. The texture on these is very soft.
Being a lipstain, as the name suggests, it does a job of liquid lipstick. It
dries down matte. Haute latte is mauve-y brown lipstick, more on a deep side
and looks flattering on almost all skin tones. If you are a sucker of deep
lips, definitely give it a try.

3. Miss Claire SMLC- No. 10
Miss Claire is one of the cheapest brands out there but
provides a good quality product. Their lip creams are exact same thing as NYX
SMLC, just the brand name and price differs. No.10 is a very beautiful blue
toned red, not very loud. I am not a fan of red lips; in fact red is the least
I wear. But, this one looks suits my skin tone pretty well. Its formula is very
creamy, takes quite a long time to dry down completely matte.
4. Maybelline Pink Alert- POW2
If you love to have lipstick of each color family,
Maybelline has got you covered. Maybelline has all the shades one would need.
It is one of my personal favourite drugstore brands. POW2 is a bright fuchsia
shade more on a neon side. It instantly brightens up the face. This is one of
those bright shades which will flatter almost all skin tones. The formula is
very creamy and hydrating.
5. Miss Claire SMLC- No.17A + Studio west lip liner- Misty
Mauve
This has to be hands
down my favourite mauve combination. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a
mauve lipstick without a hefty price tag. If you are unknown to Studio west
makeup, it is an in- house beauty line
by Westside, the products are quite affordable. The lip liner is a true mauve
shade, glides on smoothly and has a good staying power. Miss Claire 17A is a
pink-y mauve shade. When mixed together it gives a pink-mauve-brown-y lip,
definitely looks flattering on variety on skin tones.

6. Anastasia Beverly hills-Party pink
As I have mentioned ABH is one of my favourite formulas. If
you feel confident in a bold lip, this is for you. Party pink is a blue toned
pink purple shade, looks mind blowing on light-medium skin tones.
7. The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes- Sentimental
Meet matt(e) formula is very popular among international you
tubers and bloggers. The range has a variety of shades to choose from. The
formula feels very comfortable on the lips and dries down completely matte.
Sentimental is pink-red shade with berry undertones, unlike regular pinks or
red.

8. Colorbar Take Me As I am- Dragging rust 018
Take me as I am range comes in a jumbo crayon form. The
lipsticks feel extremely creamy and comfortable on the lips, does not flake.
Dragging rust is a bright brick shade and people will all skin tones will enjoy
it. The final outcome may differ on different skin tones.
9. Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte – Immortal
If you love a deep maroon red, this is for you. Hydra mattes
are supposed to be hydrating liquid lipsticks which don’t dry out the lips. The
texture on these is mousse-y kind of. They do transfer a little but feels very
comfortable on the lips.

10. Lime Crime Velvetines- Riot
This was my very first high end liquid lipstick and I have a
special place for this in my heart. I love lime crime velvetines. This is my
favourite liquid lipstick formula ever. It does not chips or flake, applies
smoothly. They do not budge and are completely waterproof. I have tested it for
more than 12H on my lips, with full meals and drinks and it stayed intact. It’s
described as Marsala but depending on your skin tone, it can look pink, brick
red or brown. On my skin tone it looks like a muted red with grey undertones.
Totally love it!!
11. Maybelline Velvet Matte- MAT6
While hunting for the ultimate berry lipstick, my search
ended up on this one. It has a velvet matte finish; it does not dry matte. If
applied generously, the lipstick may move on the lip which is very annoying. It
is one of those lipsticks which instantly brightens up the face and make you
look beautiful.
