ORGANIC MILL DETOX CLAY MASK REVIEW|PICTURES

Hello everyone! How are you? I am back again with another skincare product review for you all. As you all know skin care plays a vital role and especially in this weather, skincare>makeup! I always look for mask which exfoliates skin deeply without stripping out the moisture from my face.

I was sent this skin detox pack from the brand, so let’s jump into the review

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY: The product retails for INR 400 for 70 grams of product and is available here.

Organicmill_ is a brand which is exclusively available on  Instagram which provides variety of organic products which are free from harmful chemicals, parabens and anything which is harmful for the skin in long run. With the availability of skincare the brand also has few organic makeup products.

Coming back to the product, the first thing which caught my eye is the ingredients list. The product is rich in Bentonite clay, kaolin clay, French green clay and rose clay. Where bentonite and kaolin clay will help with deep cleansing of pores, rose clay helps to lock the moisture.

The mask comes in a plastic tub and the product is secured with a plastic lid. The packaging makes the product very travel friendly. The packaging has all the details mentioned about the product also the date of manufacturing so that you precisely know when the product is freshly made.

The mask comes in a finely milled powder which is blush pink in color and it changes to brick color when mixed with water/curd wet and a beautiful nude-y pink when dried . It feels very soft and smooth to touch and does not have big chunks in it.

As I belong to dry skin family, it is advised to mix the powder with curd and apply it. It makes a smooth paste which is very easy to apply and work with.

Freshly mixed with water

I kept the mask for 15 minutes until it dried and scrubbed it off with lukewarm water. The mask instantly clears the skin and the goodness of clays helps to minimise the visibility of pores. It made the texture of my skin smooth and gave a subtle glow from within.

I compared the mask with the L’oreal pure clay mask which I reviewed here, as there are many similarities in between the two. But as L’oreal mask has red algae extracts which works more efficient on the skin it gave the results better than this one. But if compared in terms of deep cleansing these two are very close to each other.

Overall, I love the way it performed on my skin and it is suitable for all skin types. It is recommended to use this twice a week as it is not harmful on the skin. It may be trouble for some who look for on the go skincare products as it is comes in a powder form and needs to be mixed with water/rosewater or curd.  It’s a 3.5/5 :D

P.S: This product was sent to me by the brand but all thoughts and reviews are my own.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,

LOVE.
