L’OREAL PARIS LIP TINT CARESSE REVIEW|PICTURES|SWATCHES

Hello everyone! How are you? Drugstore brands these days are really stepping up their game with launching of new products, collections. Personally talking about L’oreal as a drugstore brand I find the price steeper than other drugstore brands we have in India.

Nevertheless, L’oreal recently launched its CANNES COLLECTION which includes liquid illuminators, powder highlights, creamy matte lipsticks and powder mattes lipsticks and I was REALLY intrigued to use some products from the collection.

I picked up Lip Tint Caresse from the collection and let me tell you, the packaging is EVERTHING!!

The product retails for INR 1050 for 0.9 Grams of product and is available on all L’oreal counters and online at www.nykaa.com (currently running discounts, so you can grab it for INR 840)

The lip tint comes is a beautiful ombre gold packaging which merges with the shade of the lip tint towards the end. The product looks like a high-end makeup, but it does not feel heavy to hold. I give the packaging 10/10.

Coming to the applicator of the product, I have never seen anything like this. The applicator is a dome shaped cushion which holds the product. The applicator is very precise which makes it great for lining the lips and reaching the inner corner of lips. It feels extremely soft and works really well on lips.

The range has total of 8 shades which are named after blooming exotic flowers with a range of pale baby pinks, nude, bright fuchsia, reds and maroons. I picked up the shade orchid blossom which is a gorgeous bright pink-fuchsia shade.

The idea behind this product is to create soft looks depending on how you like it. It is also a multipurpose product which can be used as an eye shadow, blush and lipstick.
From Top-Bottom ✨
1. Peony Blossom 🌸
2. Orchid Blossom 🌬
3. Plum Blossom πŸ‡
4. Tulip Blossom 🌷
5. Rose Blossom 🌹
6. Sakura Blossom or Peach Blossom πŸ‘
7. Lily Blossom πŸ’

The brand did a total justice to the idea of calling it powder matte. The lip tint feels so comfortable and weightless on the lips, you don’t feel like having something on. I really enjoyed wearing this as I am always into trying different liquid lipsticks which can be dry, patchy or crumbly on the lips.
The lip tint goes smooth in one single swipe and gives an opaque color payoff. It does not dry out the lips and provides a good hydration.

I am really amazed with the pigmentation. You don’t need to layer it up again and again for that excellent color pay off. It does that in one single swipe.

The performance of this is really good, it is completely transferproof after it dries and has a very soft velvet-y finish. It stays put after light meals and drinks and upon having full meals it fades away from the inner areas of the lips. The oiliness in the food effect the wear time. But this will not stop me wearing it again. It stays for maximum 6-7 hours which is quite good.

For reference I am NC 25 and this picture is taken in Natural light

Overall, I love its formula and I believe this is a really innovative product in the Indian market. I love the way it sits on the lips without getting patchy or setting in fine lines. I would recommend this to anyone looking for trying out powder mattes. Minus, I wish the quantity of the product could have been more for the price.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,

LOVE.
